I began writing seriously towards the end of 2023, and was hit by the realisation that this is me – I literary and speculative fiction (others might label some of my work as upmarket, horror, absurdist, surrealism). I write about pain, because pain has its place and is never eradicated. When we talk and write about our pain, we make sense of it and, eventually, hopefully, it hurts less.

My work will stay with you. I promise you that. You might cry. You might have to pause. It’ll take something from you, but give so much more.

In 2025 I began my MA in Creative Writing at the University of Bristol, where I’m also employed. See you on the other side.

I currently have a 60-70k speculative literary fiction novel, a speculative literary fiction story collection, a trade non-fiction anxiety self-help book, that I’m seeking representation for.
